El tercer disco une como en los anteriores la música a los poemas de Claudio Serra Brun, esta vez los acordes de tango contemporáneo del maestro Luis Di Matteo. Este gran instrumentista y compositor uruguayo, convoca en sus obras a las culturas de Montevideo y Buenos Aires, las grandes ciudades del Río de la Plata, área del nacimiento del tango, la música cosmopolita y latina por excelencia del siglo XX, y a la que le auguramos una mayor difusión en tiempos venideros.
Un gran desafío estético y una idea soñada por mucho tiempo, Claudio Serra Brun le pone poemas al tango contemporáneo. En un mismo plano, la poesía y la música construyen un diálogo profundo y poderoso sobre los temas más candentes de la actualidad, e inauguran con su fuerza simbólica lo que será la expresión cosmopolita del siglo XXI: La unión de la poesía con la música.

“Since many years ago I have been walking on different musical paths, not only in the realm of popular music but also in the wrong-named “erudite.”In Europe, for instance, I have been able to play, in many occasions, as a bandoneon soloist, with a quartet, a quintet; a string quintet and bandoneon, string orchestra with bandoneon; festivals, etc.
I must confess that it had never been happened to me that somebody, and less with the artistic talent that the Master Claudio Serra Brun has, could use my instrumental works with roots of Tango, Milonga, and Candombe to magnify with his poems.
It is admirable how the poet, in each and every one of his poems, managed to adapt in a language that is not precisely associated with the Tango Rioplatense, and in a symbiosis almost magical, to achieve, precisely, let’s say… the union of two different branches of Universal culture in a truly FANTASTIC parallelism.
Therefore I recommend, emphatically, the audition of Serra Brun’s magnificent works.
Also, I would like to add, with great happiness, that our hope grows bigger thanks to this heroic “workers” of the culture of our Planet, whom with their intellectual work and ideas achieve gradually more spiritual word, more benevolent, more tolerant, etc.
Claudio, as based on what I have noticed, lives in the world of metaphysics, and is submerged in the sea and the Earth, without obviously abandoning, his surface, that of the “every-day” man, of love, to cite only a pair of terrestrial examples. Nevertheless, I “see” him looking at the Cosmos almost always; of course, there is still here a lot of pain, injustice and every day more
and more repression of man towards his brother.I sincerely thank you for such a GREAT JOB and thanks also for having included my music in your brilliant literary work.”
